Hank Williams biopic starring Tom Hiddleston

According to Millennium Studios Facebook page, a biopic, with Hank Williams as the subject, will be filmed in Shreveport in October.

The film is titled, "I Saw The Light", according to Millennium Studios.

English actor Tom Hiddleston, best known for his role as "Loki" in "The Avengers", is cast in the lead role.

Millennium Studios says on their Facebook page, the film is written and directed by Marc Abraham. It will chronicle Hank Williams' rise to stardom and the effects of years of substance abuse that ended the performer's life at age 29.

Movie production is expected to last until December.
