Sen. Vitter discusses Shreveport education forum

U.S. Senator David Vitter, R-La., is hosting a series of leadership forums through the state related to improving education. The first of the five forums takes place today in Shreveport from 9:30-11 a.m. at South Highlands Magnet Elementary School Library.

The senator stopped by NBC 6 News Today to talk about the goals of the forum and the future of 'Common Core' in Louisiana.
