The 400 block of Lake Street is coming back to life.

Five new businesses will open their doors Thursday evening.

The businesses include:
-Vintage Design Group
-Agora Borealis
-Nicole Spikes Photography
-Good Granoly

Each have finished renovating their part of the historic building, and are ready to show of for the public.

A large celebration will take place.

Called Cirque Du Lake, the event is free for anyone and will feature live music, entertainment, tours, food trucks and so much more.

Here's more information on the businesses:

Agora Borealis: occupies the space that once housed the Lake Street Dance Hall. Owner, Katy Larsen, has transformed the building into a Bohemian version of an art gallery, filled with handmade items, jewelry, soaps, furniture and more. The products are all made locally and many are re-used or recycled materials.

iArchitecture: a small architectural and design firm with big ideas. Owner, Jeff Spikes, and his team have recently finished several high profile projects (including the new look of local Burger King restaurants and Everett Jewelry).

Nicole Spikes Photography: her work specializes in maternity, newborn and childhood memories.

Vintage Design Group: provides architectural and construction management services to guide a project from start to finish.

Good Granoly: a small, family-owned granola business that is now so popular, a number of local grocery stores carry it.

The festivity starts at 4pm and will finish around 8pm.
