Want to surf the sky?

A new business lets you do just that.

Flyboarding is a new water sport that'll take you to new heights.
With the help of a jet ski, water is pushed through a hose, and up to a special pair of boots.

The pressure of the water slowly pushes you up out of the water.

Before you know it, you'll be hovering about 3-4 feet above the water.

"Well, if you've seen the first Ironman, he learns how to fly in his garage and he's hovering around his cars," said co-owner Randy Arendell. "That's exactly how it looks and feels. It's pretty exciting, even when you're only 3 or 4 feet off the surafce of the water, you feel like you're 15 or 20 feet. It's really exhilarating."

It's a sport that is done around the country, including Dallas and New Orleans.

"People here like to go do touristy type things elsewhere," said Arendell. "But they have to go elsewhere to do it. This is something new and exciting that people don't have to leave town to do. They can have a blast right here in town instead of going to Destin or some other vacation."

Reservations must be made in advance.

It's recommended that those 12 years of age and up do it.

There is a recommended weight requirement of about 90lbs.

All instructors are certified and take all safety precautions they can.
