Northwestern State University will be in search of a new president after Dr. Randall J. Webb announces his retirement.

According to an article posted on Friday on Northwestern State University's website, Dr. Webb says he will retire sometime in 2014.

According to the article, Dr. Webb's retirement date is fluid, and will be based on when his successor can fully assume duties as university president.

The school's website lists Dr. Webb as the longest serving president in school history. He took the post in 1996.
