Wayne White, best known as the set designer for Pee Wee's Playhouse, is bringing his art to life in a Puppet Parade.

The parade will be Saturday, June 28th in downtown Shreveport.

Anyone of any age is invited to come and see his life-size puppets parade down the streets.

It starts at 6pm at Central Station, and is expected to finish by about 9pm.

The puppets, however, are not your typical puppets and are inspired by southern traditions and musical talents of the area.

NBC 6's Jade Cunningham was able to interview Mr. White about the event, you can hear what he has to say in the video.
