Sci-Port celebrates Shark Week

If you want to sink your teeth into some fun, head to Sci-Port!

Starting August 9th, Sci-Port will celebrate the world of sharks with fun activities for children of all ages.

Daily programs include:

-Shark Anatomy: Spectators will be able to watch a shark dissection, taking a closer look at the anatomy and parts of a shark. This will take place on the weekends at 1pm
-Sensor Science: Sharks have an amazing sense of smell and can sense blood up to 3 miles away. Do you think you have good smell? Now, you can put it to the test
-Making Fossils: Make your own Megalodon tooth fossil to take home
-Sandpaper Shark Rub drawings: visitors can head to the Children's Gallery and have some fun with shark drawings
-Shark Tooth Scavenger Hunt: find a shark tooth hidden in the Big Ramblin' Red, and take it home with you

Shark will will continue until Sunday, August 17th.
