Update at 7:15am:

Shreveport police tell NBC 6 News that the accident happened around 6:30am Thursday.

The 18-wheeler was coming off I-20, and heading onto Terry Bradshaw Passway.

As the semi was turning, the load (of potatoes) shifted causing the 18-wheeler to roll over.

Authorities say there was a female driver and male passenger.

The windshield of the semi had to be taken out so officers could get to the driver.

Both were sent to a local hospital to be checked out.

Traffic is still down to one lane.
