Seminar to educate on psoriasis treatment

More than 125 million people globally live with psoriasis, a chronic autoimmune disease that causes red, scaly patches to appear on the skin.
   
A seminar will be held this Saturday to educate those living and caring for those battling the condition.

It takes place at the North Shreveport Memorial Library, located at 4844 N. Market Street, on Saturday, Aug. 23rd. It runs from 9:30 AM to Noon.

National Psoriasis Foundation Community Ambassador, Vickie Wilkerson, stopped by to talk about is on NBC 6 News Today.
