A Shreveport man faces numerous charges in connection with a string of property crimes over a period of nearly three months.

After months of investigation, Shreveport Police Property Crimes Detectives have arrested 35-year-old Glenn Curtis Young Jr.

He was arrested after evidence recovered during their probe linked him to the burglary of at least eight different properties across Shreveport.

Young has been tied to three burglaries committed in the 200 block of Wall Street between the months of January through February of this year.

In addition, two December 2013 burglaries committed in the 1300 block of Shreveport Barksdale Highway were also linked to Young.

Young was also tied to a burglary in the 1000 block of Highland Avenue, the 3300 block of Youree Drive and an attempted burglary in the 2800 block of West Cavett Drive.

Detectives were successful in recovering a number of the items stolen during those burglaries.

Young was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on burglary charges.
