A local man is behind bars after he allegedly shot at a woman during an argument.

Around 10:12pm, July 8th, Shreveport Police patrol officers were sent to a home in the 700 block of West 69th Street relative to a shooting.

When officers arrived, they contacted an adult female who reported a known male suspect fired at least one shot at her during the course of a dispute between the two relative to a rental vehicle.

The suspect fled the area prior to officer arrival.

Just after noon on July 9th, patrolmen responded back to the home on West 69th Street regarding a report of the suspect returning to the scene of the crime.

Upon arrival, authorities took 49-year-old Kenneth Parker into custody without incident.

Parker, of the 6400 block of Quillen Boulevard in Shreveport, was booked into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of attempted 2nd Degree Murder.
