At least one person is on the run after breaking into multiple cars in a Shreveport neighborhood.

Shreveport Police tell NBC 6 News that they are doing what they can to find whoever is responsible for this incident.

They spent most of the morning fingerprinting cars, talking to those whose cars had been broken into, and talking to each other trying to get the latest details.

We know that it started around 3:30 Wednesday morning on the 900 block of Thora Boulevard.

Some people living there saw their motion light come on, and when they went to see what was going on, they saw a man sitting in their truck.

They called police, but when they arrived the man had already gotten out of the truck and fled.

Shreveport Police tell NBC 6 News that they are looking for at least one suspect, but that there may be more.

This is a developing story, stay with NBC 6 News for the latest.
