Shreveport Police search for gunmen

A woman is shot, and the alleged gunmen are on the lose.

Shreveport Police tell NBC 6 News that the shooting happened just before 10:30pm Thursday.

An unidentified woman was driving in the 6000 block of Buncombe Rd, when she heard gunshots.

She proceeded to drive to a nearby mobile home community where she was struck by a bullet.

Police say the woman, shot in the lung, was taken to LSU with life-threatening injuries.

They add they're looking for two male suspects.

One is heavy set wearing a grey sweater/sweatshirt.

The other is tall and skinny and that both have close cropped hair.
