It's a new spin on an event that'll help fight a deadly disease.
This weekend, Holiday Lanes in Bossier City goes pink to help strike out Breast Cancer.
1 in 8 woman will develop invasive Breast Cancer in their lifetime, so the more that can be done to help raise awareness and help fight it, the better.
On Saturday from 11am-2pm, a bowling tournament will take place at the facility. It's located on 3316 Old Minden Rd, Bossier City.
Teams will be made up of 4 people, cost is $25 per person.
Participants will get a commemorative event t-shirt, prizes will also be given, and a raffle drawing will take place.
You can be any age and any experience to play.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Northwest Louisiana Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
