Waukesha, WI --

A slumber party stabbing in Waukesha.

Prosecutors say two 12-year-old girls stabbed another girl 19-times after a sleepover.

The details of this story are graphic and hard-to-believe.

Two young girls tried to kill their friend because of something they read on the Internet.

The two suspects, 12-year-old Morgan Geyser and 12-year-old Anissa Weier, made their first court appearance Monday.

They're being charged as adults for attempted homicide.

The criminal complaint details how Geyser and Weier became obsessed with horror and death websites and plotted for months to kill their so-called friend.

After the three woke up Saturday from a sleepover at Weier's house, the pair are accused of acting out the plan.

Police they allegedly lured the girl into the woods.

"Once there, one suspect held the victim down while the other suspect stabbed her 19 times in the arms, legs, and torso," said Waukesha Police Chief, Russell Jack.

"I recognize the young age, but it's still unbelievable I guess if you want to put it that way," said Court Commissioner, Thomas Pieper.

Parents of the suspects refused to comment.

Geyser's attorney did off condolences to the victim's family on their behalf.

Both Geyser and Weier remain in jail on a half million dollars cash bond; each.

The victim is in stable condition.
