Citizens National bank taught kids at six different schools across Shreveport Bossier.
They talked about the value of good saving habits and responsible credit management.
"The sooner children and students learn to be good money managers the quicker they can reinforce those behaviors in the community and we feel like uh a student body that uh knows good financial practices uh is a good member of the community and well prepared to succeed in the future," Says Jason Smith with Citizens Bank.
This is the 17th year for "Teach Children to Save Day."
