The 1961 limousine that President Kennedy rode in on November 22nd 1963 was called X-100 by the Secret service. After the assassination more than half a million dollars was spent to re-fit the car, it was placed back in service and used by President's Johnson, Nixon, Ford, and Carter. Retired in 1977 the car is on permanent display at the Henry Ford Museum in Michigan.
