18-wheeler crash claims the life of man in Cass County

Update: In Cass County an accident involving two 18-wheelers kills a man.

The crash happened along U.S. Hwy 59 near the town of Domino.

The Texas Department of Safety says 57-year-old Nashville, Arkansas native, Lonnie Warmick died when his logging truck ran into the back of another 18-wheeler.

The second truck was allegedly crossing in front of Warmick when it happened.

The second driver wasn't hurt.

No charges have yet been filed.

One person is dead after two tractor trailers collide in Domino, Texas.

The accident happened shortly after 7 a.m. Thursday in the southbound lanes of Hwy 59.

Investigators believe the 18-wheeler was parked on the shoulder when it was hit by a log truck.

The driver of the log truck, 57-year-old Lonnie Warmick, of Nashville, Arkansas, died at the scene.  Warmick's body was taken to the Medical Examiner's Office in Dallas.

The driver of the other 18-wheeler suffered no injuries.
