Arrest made in Rebel Drive shooting

The suspect in last week’s home invasion and shooting in Bossier City has been arrested and booked into the Bossier City Jail.  


Johnny C. Thompson Jr., 20, of Bossier City, turned himself in to authorities at the Bossier City Police Department Friday night. Police obtained an arrest warrant for Thompson, who they determined was the suspect in a home invasion last weekend.


Thompson, 20 is accused of shooting 30-year old Christopher Paul Davis of Shreveport during an armed robbery attempt inside a home in the 2900 block of Rebel Drive on August 2, 2014.  


According to Bossier police, Davis was taken to University Health in Shreveport and is continuing to recover from his wounds.
