A body was found in Cross Lake around 11 a.m. Saturday morning. Shreveport Police said the body appears to be a white man in his forties.
A boater found the body floating in the lake, under the I-220 bridge. Cpl. Marcus Hines said investigators are not ruling out foul play. He said there haven't been any reports of a missing person fitting the body's description. There were also no abandoned vehicles on the bridge or abandoned boats in the water.
The Caddo Coroner's Office is working to identify the body, and then notify next of kin.
