The initiative is scheduled to start Friday, July 4, and run through Sunday, July 6.
During the no refusal effort, once a driver has been placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated, they will be asked to submit to either a breath or blood sample.
If the driver refuses, and a judge determines there is probable cause, a warrant for a blood sample will be issued. The trooper will then take the driver to the nearest hospital to obtain a sample.
