BPCC holds area-wide Veterans' Benefits & Resource

Bossier Parish Community College is helping veterans learn about benefits and resources offered in their community.

BPCC will hold the event from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday, June 6 inside Bldg. A at 6220 E. Texas St.

You will receive resources and information from a multitude of veteran services throughout Bossier Parish.

Your family is also invited to attend and receive valuable information regarding dependent benefits.

Participants at the Resource Fair will include:

  • Bossier Parish Department of Veteran Affairs
  • Vet Center
  • Troops to Teachers
  • Wounded Warrior
  • Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (five different areas)
  • American Legion
  • Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Disabled American Veterans
  • Vocational Rehabilitation Center
  • Louisiana Workforce Development
  • Bossier Parish Community College
  • Barksdale Federal Credit Union
  • Northwestern State University
  • Louisiana State University Shreveport
  • Southern University Shreveport
  • DeVry University
  • Louisiana Tech
  • Northwest Louisiana Technical College
  • Jean Simpson Temporary
This event is sponsored by the Shreveport Veterans Center and is part of the Readjustment Counseling Services' "Vets to Vets" tour.

The Veterans Administration's Mobile Vet Center from New Orleans will also be on-site.
