BPSO Deputies attend annual D.A.R.E. Conference

More than a dozen deputies with the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office attend the 23rd annual Louisiana D.A.R.E. Officers Association training conference.

The training was held this week in Pineville, La. The conference is held every year in July prior to school starting to provide classroom management skills, juvenile law and drug updates, active shooter, social networking, sexting and Internet trends involving juveniles.  

The D.A.R.E. Officers/School Resource Officers who attended this year's conferece were: Deputies Carl Jones, Norman Craig, Steve Porter, Marie Hawn, Ken Gay, Greg Barnard, Jeremy Johnston, Lane Tuggle, Ricky Speir, Judy Williams, Matt Guerrero, Sgt. Adam Johnson, Kathy Naron and Greg Ebarb.
