California lawmakers pass "yes means yes" sexual consent bill

California lawmakers passed a bill this week requiring universities to adopt "affirmative consent" language in their definitions of consensual sex.

It's a bill known as "yes, means yes." The goal is to stop sexual assaults on college campuses.

California Governor Jerry Brown has until the end of September to decide whether to sign the bill into law.
