Centenary College's Epsilon chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity is holding a special voter registration event this week.

Geaux Vote will take place between noon and 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28 on the Centenary Caf Deck.

Grande Scribe for the chapter Erick Norem said, "Our goal for this event is simple, we are promoting civic involvement. As Kappa Sigmas, we are encouraged to serve A Greater Cause and we saw voter registration as a great opportunity to do just that."

The Geaux Vote event is free and open to the public. You should bring your I.D. to prove U.S. citizenship such as a driver's license, passport, utility bill or payroll check that includes your name and address.
