A Shreveport man who was arrested this past week for sexually abusing a teen-age boy is facing more charges now that additional victims have come forward.

Joseph Kurz, 61, was taken into custody on July 11 for indecent behavior with a juvenile.

After news reports aired about his arrest, five additional victims came forward and said they were abused by Kurz between 1969 and 1985.  The victims ranged in age from four to 14 at the time.

Because of the length of time that has passed in some of the cases, Kurz could only be charged with one additional crime but the remaining victims' information will be used as part of the case.

Kurz had bonded out of jail on the original charge of indecent behavior but was arrested Friday at the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office on one count of aggravated rape. His bond on that charge was set at $250,000.
