Crowds gathered to remember those who gave their lives for our country at the 37th annual Memorial Day Service in Haughton.

The service took place Monday morning at the park amphitheater inside the Hill Crest Memorial Cemetery.

There was a presentation of colors by Haughton AFJROTC cadets and the guest speaker was World War II Marine Ray Ubran.

There was also a 21 gun salute and taps at today's ceremony.
