If you are looking for a safe, fun and constructive way for your child to enjoy their vacation you should check out the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office youth camp.

Starting June 2 children and teens between the ages of 10 and 18 can participate in basketball and table games like checkers, cards and dominoes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Mondays through Thursdays.

The activities will take place in the gymnasiums at North Caddo High School on Airport Rd. in Vivian, Huntington High School on 6801 Rasberry Lane and Booker T. Washington High School on 2104 Milam St.

Each location is supervised by instructors provided by the Caddo School Board.

Pre-registration is not required, and there is no fee, however, participants are required to sign in.  The program will continue through July 10.

For more information on the summer youth program, call the sheriff's Community Programs Section at (318) 681-0875.
