Walking for humanity- I love you Jesus

Saturday morning they laced up their shoes, they stretched their legs, and they even danced to ready themselves (nat pop we're warming up)

It's the fourth annual Walk for Humanity, and hundreds took part in the 1 mile walk and a 5k run

we have a remarkabnle turnout

Vilma Tarver started the event

Last year we had about 750

and this year she says it's bigger

We probably have over 1000 people today

stand up-- some people walked while others ran but they all did it for the same reason- a good cause

helping the African children

That's right. they're raising money to help feed little ones

children in ethiopia we're based out of africia we work there now so this money will go to help children, most of them are orphans.

Participants say the atmosphere was great

It's a really good vibe everybody's happy and it's just a good way to start the day

I am actually just elated over the response

She's happy for the turnout and she's thrilled for what this will mean for the children in need

it has been a great year for the humanity walk
