If you are a veteran and looking for work then the fall Veterans' Job and Resource Fair is where you need to be.

The event will take place between 9 a.m. and noon Thursday, Sept. 4 at the Bossier Civic Center.

Nearly 70 vendors will be on site during the fair, ranging from major regional employers to employment agencies and veterans' resource services.

Among the major employers set to be in attendance are Benteler Steel/Tube, CSC - Computer Science Corporation and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories.

The event is a collaborative effort between the Bossier Chamber of Commerce, Hero2Hired, Goodwill Industries of Northwest Louisiana and the City of Bossier City.

The Veterans' Job and Resource fair is sponsored by Willis-Knighton Health System Virginia College, and Louisiana Timber Partners.

The event is free to both businesses as well as job seekers.  Veterans, active duty military members and their dependents are welcome to attend the event.
