The event will be held Thursday, Oct. 2, and Friday, Oct. 3 at the Claiborne Conference Center in downtown Baton Rouge.
The 2014 conference will feature keynote speaker, Jeff Kirchner, founder of Litterati, an internationally-followed Instagram movement that inspired KLB's most recent campaign, #LitterGram.
The two-day conference will also include Jennifer Jehn, the new president and CEO of Keep America Beautiful and speakers from the University of Louisiana System as well as panel discussions on environmental sustainability programs, successful Healthy Community grants, social media tools and how to inspire volunteerism.
KLB executive director Susan Russell said, "The annual conference is a great opportunity for us to learn from each other. "We are excited to have such high caliber speakers this year. We hope anyone who wants to join the movement to keep Louisiana beautiful, will attend."
The conference will close with KLB's Annual Awards Luncheon at the Capitol Park Museum. Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne will be the featured speaker at the luncheon.
KLB will also present awards for outstanding work by individuals and groups whose exemplary efforts are helping to keep Louisiana clean and beautiful.

Early registration is available through Sept. 12, and is $75 to attend both days of the conference and the Annual Awards Luncheon. The registration fee increases to $85 after Sept. 12, or $100 at the door.
