Lane closures on I-220 may affect your commute

You can expect delays if you travel on Interstate-220 in Bossier Parish.

There will be intermittent lane closures on I-220 westbound from I-20 to Red River to install interstate signs:

  • Tuesday, July 8 between 8:15 p.m. and 6:15 a.m. the right lane of I-220 westbound will be closed from the I-20 interchange in Bossier to the Red River. This closure is expected to last 3 days.

  • Friday, July 11 between 8:15 p.m. and 6:15 a.m. the on-ramp from I-20 westbound to I-220 westbound-Exit # 26 will be closed for one day.  Alternate Route: Traffic to exit at Industrial Dr.-Exit #23 to Hwy 80 east to I-220.

  • Saturday, July 12 between 8:15 p.m. and 6:15 a.m. the on-ramp from I-20 eastbound to I-220 westbound-Exit # 26 will be closed for one day. Alternate Route: Traffic to exit at LA 157-Exit #33 to I-20 westbound.

  • Sunday, July 13 between 8:15 p.m. and 6:15 a.m. the right lane of I-220 westbound will be closed from the I-20 interchange in Bossier to the Red River for three days.
