The Louisiana Dog Rescue is in dire need of fosters homes.
The fairly new non-profit takes dogs from the Bossier and Caddo Animal Shelters and puts them in homes with volunteer caregivers.
That's until someone comes forward to adopt the dogs. Currently it works with a dozen foster homes, but could use more.
"A few dozen more foster homes would be great just to get the dogs out of the shelter and into a home so it's not at risk of euthanasia at the shelter," said Reed Ebarb.
The group also takes monetary donations, which helps pay for the animals' doctors bills.
