Shreveport police Friday arrested a local man on sexual assault charges involving a 5-year-old and a 14-year-old.

Antonio Green, 24, is being held on a $300,000 bond on charges stemming from a call SPD patrol officers responded to on July 18. The call was from a home in the 4300 block of Ledbetter Street relative to a sexual assault.

Upon arrival, officers contacted an adult female who reported a male acquaintance had allegedly sexually assaulted two of her daughters, ages 5 and 14. Detectives immediately were notified and began their investigation.

Based on information gathered during the course of their inquiry, investigators believe Green  had been having sexual encounters with both juveniles.

On August 7, 2014, authorities procured an arrest warrant charging Green with one count of molestation of a juvenile, one count of forcible rape and one count of sexual battery.

On August 8, 2014, officers with the Shreveport Police Department's Warrants Unit took Green into custody without incident, and subsequently booked him into the Shreveport City Jail on the outstanding arrest warrant.

Investigation remains underway to determine if Green has potentially victimized other persons in or around the local area. Anyone having any information regarding relative to this case should contact Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373 or www.lockemup.org
