You will need to find an alternate route if you travel on the Golden Meadows Dr. in Bossier City.

The railroad crossing at Golden Meadows Drive and Barksdale Blvd. is scheduled to close the morning of Wednesday, July 16 while crews with Kansas City Southern Railroad work to replace the rail crossing.

The crossing is expected to be closed no longer than three days.  Barricades and detour signs will be in place.

During the closure you can access the Golden Meadows neighborhood from Barksdale Blvd. via Robert E. Lee Blvd. and from Sligo Rd. via Pampus Ln. and Bayou Dr.
