Men posing as good Samaritans help victim push car off road, then rob him

Texarkana, Texas Police are investigating a robbery that happened around 3 a.m. this morning in the 3800 block of Magnolia Street.


Upon arrival officers made contact with the victim, Ralph Taylor, 58, of Texarkana, Texas, whose car had broken down in the 3800 block of Magnolia Street.


The suspects pulled up in another car and told him they would push his car out of the street for five dollars. The victim agreed to this.


The suspects then pushed the victim’s car in to a parking lot and when the victim went to pay them the five dollars they grabbed him, took all his money and fled the scene. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
