Meth bust lands four people behind bars

Authorities nab four people during a drug bust in southeast Shreveport.

On Wednesday Trenton Belgard, 45, Jacob Trosclair, 23, and Leslie Robertson, 37, and Jackie Watson, 43, were taken into custody in Norris Ferry Landing.

Belgard was arrested when agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit recovered 29 grams of suspected meth from his home in the 10,000 block of Keysburg Court.

Watson, Trosclair, and Robertson were also apprehended when they arrived at Belgard's home to allegedly purchase the suspected meth.
All suspects were booked into Caddo Correctional Center.

Belgard was charged with possession of schedule II meth with intent to distribute.

Trosclair was charged with attempted possession of schedule II meth and possession of schedule II meth.

Robertson and Watson were charged with attempted possession of schedule II meth, possession of schedule I marijuana and illegal carrying of a weapon with a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
