Attorneys for the pastor convicted in federal court on three counts of transporting a minor across state lines with the intent to engage in sexual activity were in Caddo District Court today.

Although Andrea Lewis, pastor of Act on Faith Ministries in Shreveport, was convicted Feb. 28, and is in federal custody awaiting his June 20 sentencing date, the five counts of molestation of a juvenile against him in Caddo District Court continue to roll forward.

Lewis was not in court today, but one of his attorneys, Terri Oliver, was there requesting to see evidence from the prosecution. Caddo District Judge Katherine Dorroh continued the matter until May 13, at which time there will be arguments and hearings.

On the federal convictions, Lewis is facing from 10 years to life in prison on each charge, as well as a $250,000 fine per charge.
