Local workers recount some scary moments Tuesday afternoon during a storm. They say a possible tornado touched down in DeSoto Parish.

The storm knocked down tree limbs and trees fell on cars, but fortunately no one was injured.

Jessie Wooten says, “I looked up and i saw it was right there."

It was a normal day at the International Paper Company until a message came across their handheld radios.

“When they say a funnel cloud a tornado, it's time to run."

DeCarlo McClelland rushed to the basement.

"We could see the wind blowing. Trees everywhere and some of the roof ripped, damaged vehicles left and right. It was pretty crazy. We had no idea that all this was coming."

According to the Desoto Parish Sheriff’s Office there weren't any other reports of damage in that area.
