Prostitution sting lands more than a dozen behind bars

More than a dozen men and women have been locked up on prostitution charges in Shreveport.

SPD Vice Operation "School in Session" was set into motion on Wednesday in the 1400 block of East 70th St.  The operation was in response to multiple complaints received from citizens concerning illegal prostitution.

 In all, 14 people ranging in age from 25 to 58 were arrested during the operation.

Those booked now face charges of Solicitation of Prostitution:
  • John Wroten, 43, of Shreveport
  • James Baldwin, 41, of Mooringsport
  • Jeremiah Prude, 34, of Bossier City
  • Anthony Gregory, 29, of Shreveport
  • Alton Harper, 45, of West Monroe
  • Daniel David King, 58, of Haughton
  • Johnny Pruitt, 52, of Shreveport
  • Darrell English, 32, of Shreveport
  • Justin Tapley, 29, of Bossier City
  • Dexter Jamison, 35, of Shreveport,
  • Willard Collins, 29, of Carthage
  • Kurtis Deneen, 25, of Shreveport
  • Michael Hood, 53, of Saline
  • Christopher Cormier, 33, of Bossier City
