You can expect delays if you travel on parts of Interstate-20 and Interstate-49 in Shreveport next week.

The right lane and off ramp from I-20 east to Market St. will be closed to traffic between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 18 while DOTD crews inspect the bridge.  This bridge is 0.3 miles east of Line Ave. and Common St. exit.

The lane closure will allow all vehicles 12 feet wide and smaller to pass through. The ramp closure will not allow vehicles to pass through the Bridge Inspection zone. Vehicles must detour using Spring St. to Texas St. to Market St.

Meanwhile, between 9 a.m. and noon Thursday, June 19 the I-49 on-ramp will be shut down from LA 3132 west bound over KCS Railroad west of Line Ave. due to a bridge inspection.

All traffic under 10 feet wide will be permitted through inspection zone.  All traffic over 10 feet wide will have to detour using Mansfield Rd. to LA 3132 to I-49.
