Second suspect arrested in murder of SAU football player

A second suspect is behind bars in connection with the fatal shooting of a senior wide receiver the SAU Mulerider football team.

Magnolia, Arkansas Police Chief Glenn Maxwell and Columbia Co. Sheriff Mike Loe announced Thursday that Timothy Johnson, 23, of Camden, was arrested and charged with Terroristic Act with a bond set at $1,000,000.

Brandon Hobdy, 23, and former SAU student Wayne Payton, 24, were killed Sunday morning when suspects opened fire outside the local VFW.

Johnson is currently awaiting first court appearance and the investigation is  still ongoing.
