Shreveport Police looking for missing senior

The Shreveport Police Department is seeking help in finding an elderly man who has been missing for nearly a month.

Charles L. Smith went missing June 27, 2014. Shreveport Police patrol officers were dispatched to a home in the 2900 block of Corbitt Street relative to a missing persons report. On arrival, family members who advised the 79-year-old Smith reportedly walked away from his home there at around 1 p.m.

Family members reported Smith was last seen wearing a yellow shirt, blue jeans and black boots. Smith, who stands approximately six feet, five inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, suffers a medical condition requiring constant medication.
