A man has been arrested for allegedly firing multiple shots in a Texarkana, Texas neighborhood.

The incident happened Thursday at a home in the 300 block of Blanton St.

Neighbors told police the suspect would repeatedly come out and fire a handgun from the porch.

Officers tried to make contact with the man after he fired more than a dozen shots but the he would not come to the door.

A short while later police were able to convince 22-year-old Tacorrius Jordan to come out of the home.

Jordan was taken into custody and charged with discharging a firearm within the city limits.
