A group of teenagers have been charged in connection with the burglary of a middle school in south Shreveport.

The burglary happened around 9:30 p.m. Monday at Broadmoor Middle School in the 400 block of Atlantic Ave.

Surveillance video shows the teens entering the school with covering over their faces.  One of the suspects is also observed opening a door to the school allowing his accomplices to enter the building.

While inside the building, the teenagers entered a number of classrooms, ultimately making off with 24 Apple Ipads.  The electronics taken were valued at nearly $15,000.

Three of the stolen tablets were recovered but authorities are still searching for 21 others that remain missing.

Shreveport Police Property Crimes investigators are offering amnesty for those persons who choose to surrender the stolen merchandise.
Anyone with information about this crime is urged to contact Caddo Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373.
