Three arrested for burglary in Texarkana

Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a burglary in Texarkana, Texas.

The burglary happened around 10:15 a.m. Friday in the 2400 block of W. 12th St.

Witnesses told police that they saw three men breaking into a home and loading up property into a two tone Chevrolet pickup.

A short time later when officers tried to make contact with suspects, two fled on foot but were captured after a brief foot chase.

Demarquis Blackwell, 20, Dezmon Harris, 23, and Quantavias Williams, 20, of Texarkana, AR were all arrested and charged with Burglary of a Building.
Blackwell and Williams were also booked on Evading Arrest on Foot. 

Officers also determined that the truck used in the burglary was listed as stolen out of Cass Co., Texas.
