Comedian Tracy Morgan, seriously injured in a horrible pile-up earlier this month on the New Jersey Turnpike, has been transferred from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J., to an undisclosed treatment center to continue his recovery.

Morgan's agent released a statement Friday that said Morgan is expected to remain in the facility for "the next few weeks. While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go," the statement said.

Morgan's mentor, James McNair, was killed when a tractor-trailer slammed into a limo van carrying the comedians on June 7. Two others, along with Morgan, were critically injured.

New Jersey prosecutors have charged the tractor-trailer driver, Kevin Roper, with vehicular homicide and assault.
