Jurors find Christopher Holder guilty in the 2011 stabbing death of his mother, Dr. Donna Holder.

Jurors hear closing arguments the 2nd Degree Murder trial of Christopher Holder.

On Tuesday Prosecutor Schuyler Marvin told the jury we can all agree that when Christopher Holder doesn't take his medicine bad things happen.  Marvin said the best place to make sure Christopher gets his medicine is in jail.

Defense Attorney Rick Fayard is trying to prove Christopher Holder is not guilty by reason of insanity.  Fayard said evidence proves that more probable than not Christopher was insane when he killed his mother, Dr. Donna Holder.

At 1:30 p.m. the jury will be charged and sent to deliberate a verdict.

Christopher is accused of stabbing his mother multiple times in her Bossier Parish home back in 2011.
