UPDATE: Shreveport man shot in the face, SPD is investigating


Police are investigating after an early morning shooting lands a Shreveport man in the hospital.
The shooting happened shortly after 6 a.m. Wednesday in the in the 1300 block of Norma St.

When officers arrived they found 35-year-old Trinceton Green with a gunshot wound to his face.  Green was taken to University Health for treatment.

Investigators say Green was shot on Norma St. but ran to the 1800 block of West Gary St. for help.

Shreveport Police are now on the scene of a third shooting happening Wednesday morning. Police found a male victim in the middle of West Gary street. At this point in the investigation police aren't sure if there is any connection to the two earlier shootings. Joel Rodgers is at the scene and will gather more details as they become available.
