Update: Man sought in fatal shooting arrested

LaDarrius Dewayne Lee 19, of the 3500 block of Darien Street in Shreveport, was taken into police custody Friday morning following his surrender to authorities at the Shreveport City Jail. 


Lee was being sought in connection with the deadly shooting of 39 year old Herbert Webb III two days prior.
 
Shreveport Police detectives believe Lee is the shooter who fired the shot killing Webb during a suspected narcotics transaction in the 3800 block of Jackson Street in Shreveport's Queensborough neighborhood.  Lee, who now faces a charge of Second degree murder was booked and remains housed at the Shreveport City Jail.  Bond in the matter has been set at $5000,000.00
